Scene from “The Vampyr.”  Actor is credited a “Julian West,” but his real name was Baron Nicolas de Gunzburg, who played the title character Allan Grey. De Gunzburg, a Russian noble, financed the film in exchange for being allowed to play the lead role. He later moved to America and became a fashion journalist.
